Runway Of My Favorite $FTM Projects
In the last two Fantom Unchained episodes by @FTMAlerts , Austin has emphasized the importance of Runway for projects.
Projects with long runways (strong financials) will be able to survive the bear market and keep on building.
Maybe even acquire (M&A) some project that’s not so lucky with their runway.
I did a small exercise for myself and I tried to find out the Runways of my favorite projects. I didn’t do anything fancy. Just looked at their Discords and asked around.
Here is what I found out. 👇
Disclaimer: This is NOT a financial advice. If a project hasn’t reported a specific number, it might be for various legitimate reasons. Keep calm. If any of the information is inaccurate, I’m happy to edit it.
Fantom Foundation
According to Fantom Unchained ep. 36 they have 10 years of runway.
I couldn’t find the source from the Foundation itself, however, it apparently came from an interview with @michaelfkong.
If anyone have a more accurate info, let me know please.
LiquidDriver
This is probably one of my favorite projects on $FTM.
They didn’t have a precise / approx. number. However, they assured they have sufficient runway.
They recently had a community call “Deck Talk”.
They touched on the topic of runway. Saying that it is quite good. LiquidDriver is in a good situation.
However, they are still looking to cut some expenses. Some things that might not be that necessary e.g. Market Making at Poloniex. They will be able to save a lot of money when that is cut off.

Byte Masons
1 year of Runway.
SpookySwap
2 - 3 years of runway.
Beethoven X
They have more than enough runway. More information might be released soon.
Hector Finance
There wasn’t a precise number. However, I got pointed out the budget for 2022 which is $7.2 million and was funded from Treasury via a vote.
Based on that you could make an educated guess.
I know that there are some influential people on Twitter who have met/talked to the leaders of the projects and might have more detailed information.
All I have are public sources. If any of this is inaccurate or misleading let me know.
Cheers!
